Through his dreams, the man is transformed back and forth between several characters, and through this journey of extremes, we learn about the life of a conflicted soul living in a world that cannot be faced head-on. So, instead, it must be faced through his Nightmares.

The Story:
The second volume, Indian Head Suite, was recorded entirely on 4-track equipment as a concept demo. It tells the parallel story of urban de-cay and human decline. It is the story of an elementary school, once flourishing and adding life to a suburban town, then abandoned and left to fall victim to vandalism and decay. And a boy, full of dreams and hope for the future, who becomes so encompassed by the human neglect in the world that he too falls victim to a self-inflicted life of depression and fear. But when, as an adult, he searches to find the root cause of his pain, he discovers mysteries about his life that are too difficult to bear - let alone to remember. This is the story of generation and degeneration. It is the story of our instinctive need to destroy what we build and to build what we destroy. And to neglect it all. To just neglect it all...

Our Suffering takes us on a journey through a brave man's final thoughts as he flashes back to tell us the story of his life, and intermittently has premonitions about how his friends and family will react to his untimely death. But are the reactions real, or just a dying man's vision of what might have happened upon his death?

The Story:
In Volume VI, we meet an introverted young man who loses his nerve to approach women after he suffers an agonizing heartbreak early on in his life. Turning to a life of solitude, he begins to fantasize about having relationships with women who, in reality, he can only admire from afar. Each imaginary relationship is played out through an elaborate love note, which he attempts to set to music in hopes of someday sharing the song with the most current subject of his admiration. But he can never find the "perfect melody", and, so, he ends the relationship in his mind before ever sharing his feelings outside of his own head. We follow this tortured soul throughout his emotional journey, and we watch as his feelings became increasingly more complex and his melodies become more polished and more beautiful with every note. In the end, he finally does compose the perfect song - the one that he is willing to share with the world. But the melody, we find, comes at a deadly expense to those who helped him to write it.
